Lesson 58：What's the time?（几点钟？）

一：如何表达“几点几分”？

1. 顺读法（past[经过]；half[一半]；a quarter[四分之一]）

用法：分钟 past 小时（[小时] 过 [分钟]，表达过多少时间）

例：
①：12:30
half past 12（12小时 过 一半，即 12:30）
②：12:15
a quarter past 12（12小时 过 四分之一，即 12:15）

*需要注意的是，“ past ”的说法仅适用于“分钟 <= 30”的情况。

2. 倒读法（to[差]；half[一半]；a quarter[四分之一]）

“to”的说法适用于大于三十分钟以上的（不等于第三十分钟）

用法：分钟 to 小时（[小时] 差 [分钟]，表示还有多少时间到）

*（60 - 分钟数）+ to +（小时数 + 1）

例：
①：11:45
a quarter to 12（差15分钟 到 12小时，即 11:45）
②：12:50
10 to 1（差10分钟 到 1小时，即 12:50）

   ①：What do they usually do in the afternoon?（他们通常下午做什么？ | 彼らは午後によく何をしますか?）
   ②：They usually play in the garden in the afternoon.（他们通常下午在花园里玩耍。 | 彼らはたいてい午後に庭で遊びます。）
   ③：What are they doing this afternoon?（他们今天下午在做什么？ | 今日の午後、彼らは何をしているのですか?）
   ④：They're swimming in the river this afternoon.（今天下午他们在河里游泳。 | 彼らは今日の午後、川で泳いでいます。）
   
   
3. read book / cook
   ①：What do you usually do in the evening?（你晚上通常做什么？ | 夕方はいつも何をしますか?）
   ②：I usually cook a meal in the evening.（私はたいてい夜に食事を作ります。）
   ③：What are you doing this evening?（你今晚会做什么？ | 今晩何をしますか？）
   ④：I'm reading a book this evening.（今天晚上我正在看书。 | 今晩は本を読んでいます。）

- I'm waiting for a bus.
Do you usually wait for a bus at eight o'clock?（usually at seven thirty）
- No, I don't. I usually wait for a bus at seven thirty.
③：What are the children doing now?（do their homework）
- They're doing their homework.
Do they always do their homework in the afternoon?（usually in the evening）
- No, they don't. They usually do their homework in tthe evening.

二：仿照例句用所给的词回答下列问题
例：six/our friends/come and see us
What's the time?
- It's six o'clock. Our friends usually come and see us at six.

- It's two o'clock. We usually go to work at two.

What's the time?
- It's four o'clock. The children usually com home from school at four.
